June McLoughlin
June McLoughlin has been Associate Director, Programs at the Centre for Community Child Health Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne for the past 10 years. During that time June has been responsible for CCCH's wide-ranging activities concerned with child care, early childhood policy and service development and evaluation.
June has been a Director of the NIFTEY Board since its inception in 2000 and has had a lead role in many of the activities undertaken by NIFTEY over the years. She has a long and distinguished career in the early childhood, family support and children's services fields, which has given her a broad and deep understanding of issues relevant to the needs of parents and their children.
June has recently taken up a new position as Assistant Regional Director, Early Childhood and Youth Services in the Southern Region of the Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. June will assume this new role in November 2009.
She is the current Chair of the National Childcare Accreditation Council (NCAC) and the Parenting Research Centre (PRC) and sits on a number of community boards, councils and committees.
